Advanced Multifocal Technology
Presbyopia compensation is based on spherical aberration modulation and visual simultaneity. Light energy creates a ‘Depth of Focus’ (DoF) determined by energy distribution and the size of the areas for distance, intermediate and near vision.
The process requires initial adaptation for the simultaneous perception of images that are not perfectly defined. TSLAC has developed several multifocal modules that can be selected according to the specific needs of the wearer.
PRO4 - Near Centre
Near Centre (NC) simultaneous vision design, ideal for manifest and established presbyopia, can be combined with Spherical and Internal Toric (Prismatic and Dynamic) lenses. The addition area has a standard size of 1.7 mm; this parameter can be modified according to visual needs and ocular dominance: in the dominant eye, the size can be reduced to 1.5 mm to improve distance vision, while in the contralateral eye it is increased to 1.9 mm to facilitate near vision.

PRO5 L + PRO5 V - Multizone
The corrective method adopted is ‘modified monovision’, which combines multifocal lenses with simultaneous vision, but with opposite profiles: in the dominant eye, the Centre Far (PRO5-L) progression is selected, while in the non-dominant eye, the Centre Near (PRO5-V) progression is applied; this combination balances the visual needs of the presbyopic patient.

PRO6 - Remote Centre
Simultaneous vision design, suitable for the early and advanced stages of presbyopia. The PRO6 module features concentric rings calculated to achieve a corrective effect without optical interference. The central zone is dedicated to distance vision (CL), while the rings with alternating distance-near power allow intermediate and proximal vision.
The PRO6 module is combined with Spherical and Toric Internal lenses with Dynamic Stabilisation.
