Specialised geometry
The ‘Sagit2’ line is ideal for astigmatism greater than 1.75 diopters; the specific rear geometry, applied in the various models, has different sagittal values in the two main meridians. To compensate for internal astigmatism, or residual forms, the internal design must be combined with toric front processing.
Reference lines
The lines engraved on the outer surface are used to check the positioning of the axis; each model in the toric range has a specific marking: in IT2 and BT modules, the reference lines indicate the flat radius of the lens, while in TE modules they indicate the position of the cylinder.

Internal toric - IT2
The ‘SAGIT 2’ module can be used with all spherical and aspherical types; the posterior toricity (IT2) is ideal for significant differences in curvature between the corneal meridians: (Kp-Ks) > 0.40 mm.
The prescription of the two internal radii (Rp, Rs), with reference to ophthalmometric Sim-Ks, avoids the instability and decentration typical of spherical lenses.

External toric - TE
The small spherical BOZD and parabolic periphery (lift=60µm) allow adaptation to normo-aspheric corneas and early keratoconus.
Bi-Torica - BT
Spherical design with aspheric periphery, suitable for hypo-eccentric corneas (e ≤ 0.30) to optimise stability. The intra-palpebral application technique is recommended, with a total diameter ≤ 9.60 mm and apical clearance of 10÷15 µm.
