Versatility and comfort
Spherical Lenses (multicurve, sphero-aspherical and aspherical) are recommended for various morphological conditions to compensate for simple ametropia and astigmatism up to 1.75 dioptres. In all types, the edge is made with an exclusive design to promote comfort, minimising mechanical interaction during blinking.
Three Curve
Suitable for physiological corneas (e = 0.45), it allows for easy interpretation of the fluoroscopic image and an 80-85% coverage ratio on the HVID. Recommended diameter selection from 9.40 to 10.20 mm.
S2
The small spherical BOZD and parabolic periphery (lift=60µm) allow adaptation to normo-aspheric corneas and early keratoconus.
BASF
Spherical design with aspheric periphery, suitable for hypo-eccentric corneas (e ≤ 0.30) to optimise stability. The intra-palpebral application technique is recommended, with a total diameter ≤ 9.60 mm and apical clearance of 10÷15 µm.
BASF Aspheric Variant
Bi-conical model with 0.30 aspheric variant, ideal for corneas with medium eccentricity (e ≥ 0.45); posterior eccentricity can be accommodated from 0.30 to 0.60 depending on the topography. Recommended diameter ≤ 10.00 mm and optimal apical clearance of 10 µm.
Elliptic
BOZD with constant asphericity (standard e = 0.40) and adaptable to corneal morphology; the large optical area is connected to a small spherical flange. TD from 8.80 to 10.20 mm; AC = 10 µm.
QUAL
Spherical-aspherical (e = 0.50) with involute transition for better alignment; we recommend the use of polymers with high gas permeability, diameters ranging from 9.00 to 10.20 mm and TLT values of 10 µm.
