Optimised simultaneity and translation
Applying lenses to resolve presbyopia issues is a demanding challenge. For this reason, progressive RGP lenses combine visual simultaneity and corrective translation (interaction between the lens edge and the eyelid margin): during proximal vision, the lens moves upwards due to interaction with the eyelid margin, creating a sum of corrective effects.
TSLAC progressive RGP lenses feature a central area for distance vision (CL) and a peripheral area for near vision (PV), optimising their effectiveness in compensating for presbyopia.
PRO1 - Multizone remote centre module
The multifocal development is achieved on the front surface with a centre-far (CL) and periphery-near (PV) distribution, allowing the PRO1 progressive module to be combined with any internal geometry selected by the applicator.

PRO2 - Aspheric centre-offset lens
PRO2 is an innovative lens designed to compensate for presbyopia: its specific Hyper-Prolate Asphericity internal profile generates effective multifocality. The advantage of the far-centre (FC) rear progression limits the negative effects of possible vertical decentring of the lenses in relation to interaction with the eyelids. The internal addition value corresponds to 1.50D and further dioptric increments are made on the front surface.

PRO3L - Aspherical module with remote centre
This is the multifocal simultaneous vision module designed for the RGP 3L design; the centre-to-distance (CL) progression is determined by the negative asphericity front development. In clinical settings, the use of lenses with a large total diameter facilitates the translation effect, allowing for increased vision during reading and proximal activities, and improves centring, another plus in compensating for presbyopia.
