Reverse geometries are suitable for solving the most severe problems associated with oblate morphologies, but they also play an essential role in other contact lens choices, such as orthokeratology, thanks to the advantages of greater centring, positioning and stability.
Compared to conventional designs, the internal profile has a different development of the intermediate area, with a more curved radius than the optical zone.
We have integrated the ability to transfer design data, provided by modern surveyors and dedicated software, into the production management system, allowing the operator to order the processed and virtually simulated RGP lacquer.
Custom geometries
The 3L Design is an innovation that simplifies the use of RGPs, promoting successful application. The project stems from topographical studies and analysis of the clinical aspects and critical issues typical of rigid gas permeable corneal lenses.
Comfort, vision, stability and versatility are the cornerstones of the 3L application system, which allows for easier compensation of all spherical and astigmatic ametropia and presbyopia.
Design xPert
Designed for the most experienced practitioners, xPert Reverse custom geometries are used for the contact lens management of complex situations. The open designs can be customised in every parametric detail (optical and peripheral radii, diameters, internal and external eccentricity), while the geometry is selected by the professional according to the specific application.
